DESCRIPTION:Come help us get Saco River Farms ready for our annual open house. Many hands make light work. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our farm\, and about the new Friends Of Saco River Farms club membership. Be a part of the Saco River Farms community as a volunteer and receive some great rewards\, as well as knowing that you are making difference in our efforts to support and build sustainable agriculture in the Saco River valley.\nThis day will be filled with fun and fellowship as we work together to beautify the farm and complete some much needed improvements. Raking\, mowing\, flower gardens\, planting\, spring cleanup\, painting\, greenhouse and livestock housing projects\, signage and lots more…\nAs our way of saying thanks… @4pm Farmer Mark will be baking up some of his famous wood fired pizza. Join in this fun and entertaining foodie adventure as we serve up the fruits of our farm Pizza style!  \nPlan for some hard outdoor work. work gloves and appropriate clothing/shoes are a must. Come when you can\, we appreciate any help we can get.
