Providing the best life we can for our livestock is the first step. Whether it is our free range chicken, tender lean pork, or goat meat… we do our best to insure the health of our animals gets passed on to our customers. Our pasture raised meats are raised on our own farmstead, getting every good thing nature intended at Saco River Farms.

We believe in having a net positive impact on our customers, neighbors, and the land we are stewards over. We believe sustainability is a crucial component of farming and life in general. Wherever we are able, we believe in farming as naturally and organically as possible, while still providing a product our customers can afford. Protecting our resources like fresh, clean water is paramount. We choose not to use chemical insecticides/pesticides or chemical fertilizers on our lands. We are blessed that PFAS from sludge/paper mills was never used as a a fertilizer on our land. We also do our best to insure the hay we feed our animals is from local farmers we know and trust.

Our own pasture raised pork is extra lean. Our customers rave about our bacon, chops and sausage! Available for in store and on-line shopping.
Chicken & Duck
We do poultry right at Saco River Farms! Our Chickens and ducks are raised on our own organic pasture and fed quality Poulin grain. They receive plenty of fresh air, mixed with a whole lot of love. Additionally, chickens are humanely processed on farm for the freshest and tastiest birds around. All natural.
